The main construction of water distiller comprises evaporator, condenser and electric heating elements.
1.Evaporator:
The evaporator is made of stainless steel plates. When the water in the evaportor exceeds the water level, it will automatically flow our from the drainage pipe. A baffle plate is installed at the center of the lid to prevent the entrainment of water droplets during evaporation. So that is may not affect the quality of the distillate. The lid of the evaporator can be conveniently opened for cleaning. A drain cock is situated on the right side for discharging or replacing the remaining water.
2.Condenser:
The condenser is made of stainless steel plates and copper tubes. It can be detached for cleaning. Distillate is condensed in the condenser by cold raw water outside the tubes. This raw water after being used for condensing distilled water is preheated before flowing into the evaporator, thus accelerating the distilling operation. In the meantime, when the raw water is preheated, volatile foreign matters are reduced so as to ensure the quality of the distillate.
3.Electric heating elements:
The immersed electric heating elements are installed at the bottom of the evaporator. In operation, the immersed electric heating elements are completely immersed in water so that the heat energy radiated by them can be fully utilized.
